Reverse description A rose in full bloom with stem and a budding lateral shoot to the right, the civic emblem of Rhodes, occupying the central field. To the lower left, a coiled serpent is depicted in profile, its body rendered in careful detail. The entire design is contained within a shallow incuse square, a characteristic feature of early and mid-Hellenistic Rhodian silver coinage. The magistrate's name ΤΙΜΟΚΡΑΤΗΣ appears in the field, accompanied by the ethnic abbreviation Ρ Ο for Rhodos.
