| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in high relief with characteristic flowing locks of hair fanning outward to suggest solar rays. The youthful, idealized visage displays finely modeled facial features including a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a serene expression typical of Rhodian Hellenistic craftsmanship. The radiating locks emerge from the crown of the head and extend into the field, creating a distinctive sunburst effect that serves as the primary emblem of the island's patron deity. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or additional devices. The style is consistent with the plintophoric series struck at Rhodes during the late Hellenistic period. |

| Reverse description | A rose in full bloom occupies the central field, shown in facing view with petals spread, with a budding rose to the right; the composition is the civic badge of Rhodes. The magistrate's name TIMAΣIΠO appears above the rose, while the ethnic P-O flanks the stem. An Isis crown device is placed in the lower left field as a secondary control symbol. The entire design is set within a shallow incuse square, characteristic of the Rhodian plintophoric series, giving the reverse a framed, architectural quality. |
