Obverse description Draped bust of Narseh facing right, wearing the distinctive royal crown surmounted by a korymbos and adorned with arcaded crenellations and three foliate branches. The hair is rendered in a single bundled group at the rear of the head. The portrait is executed in the formal Sasanian court style, with a Pahlavi inscription in the field identifying the king.
