| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing nearly full-face, turned very slightly to the left, rendered in fine Ionian style with long flowing hair radiating outward across the field. The face is broad and youthful, with softly modelled features characteristic of early 4th-century BC Greek coinage. A laurel wreath crowns the head, and drapery with a prominent central spherical fastener is visible at the base of the neck. The entire design fills the flan with bold, high-relief workmanship. |
