Myndos, a small harbor city on the Carian coast of Asia Minor, issued coinage sporadically and in limited volume — civic pride more than economic necessity. The magistrate name Menophilos appears on only a handful of known specimens, suggesting either a brief tenure or a single restricted emission. Caria remained under the nominal influence of the Rhodian Peraea during much of this period, and Myndian civic issues of this era likely circulated within a tight regional orbit rather than any broader commercial network.
