Reverse description The Achaean League federal monogram, formed by the letters Chi (Χ) and Rho (Ρ) conjoined, occupies the centre of the field, flanked on either side by the letter Kappa (Κ) to the left and Alpha (Α) to the right, with the letter Mu (Μ) below — the latter serving as the magistrate's or mint initial for Megalopolis. The entire device is enclosed within a wreath of olive branches tied at the base, rendered with careful detail showing individual leaves and berries. The composition is well-centred and symmetrical, characteristic of the standardised federal coinage of the League.
