| Obverse description | Zeus seated left upon a throne, depicted in three-quarter view, holding a long sceptre or spear upright in his right hand and extending his left arm forward. The deity is rendered in archaic style with a muscular, semi-draped torso. The field is plain, and the flan is irregularly shaped, consistent with early Arcadian hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | Head of a nymph or female deity facing left, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with a beaded necklace visible at the throat. The hair is rendered in fine parallel engraved lines beneath the helmet, and a small symbol appears in the upper right field. The design is set within a shallow incuse square, characteristic of mid-fifth century Arcadian coinage, with the legend ARKA disposed around the type. |
