Reverse description The monogram of the Achaean League (AX ligature) displayed prominently at center, set within a laurel wreath that encircles the entire reverse field. To the left of the monogram appears the Corinthian control letter koppa (Ϙ), while below the central monogram a secondary control monogram is present. The wreath is rendered with carefully engraved leaves tied at the base, a hallmark of Achaean League hemidrachm coinage. The arrangement of control marks identifies the mint as Corinth and assists in precise chronological attribution within the League's coinage series.
