Obverse description Draped bust of a female divinity facing left, her hair elaborately arranged in waves and gathered into a bun at the nape, adorned with a turreted crown. Two pellets are visible above the forehead in the field. The portraiture is rendered in fine Hellenistic style, with delicate facial features and a graceful profile characteristic of Pontic civic coinage.

Reverse description Prow of a warship (trireme) oriented to the left, depicted in fine detail with a prominent ram, oar bank, and hull. A six-pointed star appears on the body of the prow. The ethnic legend ΣΙΝΩ is inscribed above in Greek characters, and a monogram (eta, Η) appears to the lower left of the prow, with an aplustre visible at the stern. The composition exemplifies the nautical iconography associated with Sinope's maritime prominence.
