| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a decorative crest. The goddess's hair flows in loose waves beneath the helmet's rim, with fine engraving capturing the naturalistic rendering characteristic of South Italian coinage of the late 3rd century BC. The facial features are modeled in high relief with a strong profile, displaying the accomplished die-cutting associated with Bruttian mint production. The field is otherwise plain. |

| Reverse description | Eagle standing facing left with wings spread wide in a heraldic display, rendered with considerable detail in the feathering of both wings and body. The bird's head is turned slightly, beak open, conveying a powerful and aggressive posture typical of Bruttian eagle types. A thunderbolt or similar device appears beneath the eagle. The ethnic legend BPETTIΩN is inscribed along the left field in Greek characters, reading upward. The border consists of a fine dotted circle. |
