Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine archaic-influenced style with detailed hair swept back in wavy locks beneath the wreath. The features are delicately modeled with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a serene expression characteristic of early Hellenistic Thessalian coinage. The flan is slightly irregular, typical of hammered silver issues of this period.
