Obverse description Facing Boeotian shield rendered in high relief, its characteristic ovoid form prominently convex at center, with two symmetrical lateral cutouts at left and right flanking the boss. The shield's outline is defined by a raised border, and the entire design fills the flan with bold, sculptural effect typical of Boeotian federal coinage of the early fourth century BC. No legend or inscription appears on this face.
