| Obverse description | Facing gorgoneion (head of the Gorgon Medusa) depicted full-face in archaic Ibero-Greek style, with wide-set eyes, flaring nostrils, and slightly parted lips revealing teeth. Flowing serpentine locks radiate symmetrically around the face, framing it within the coin's circular field. A small foliate or scroll ornament is visible at the crown of the head. The rendering is bold and high-relief, consistent with Greek artistic influence adapted by Iberian die-cutters. No legend or border ornament is present on the obverse. |
