| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square divided diagonally into four triangular compartments, alternating between two raised (relief) and two sunken (incuse) sections arranged in a saltire pattern. In one of the sunken quarters, a strung bow is depicted above a pellet; in the opposite sunken quarter, the letter A appears above a pellet. The raised quarters are plain. This distinctive reverse type served as the primary identifier for the hemidrachms of Chersonesos throughout their extended series. |
