Obverse description Interlaced royal cypher 'GW' of Margrave Georg Wilhelm, surmounted by a princely crown, centrally positioned in the field. The monogram is rendered in an elaborate intertwined script with the letters G and W fully entwined. A beaded inner border encircles the design. The overall style is characteristic of early 18th-century German provincial copper coinage.
