Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, divided into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size by a raised cross. The incuse is deeply impressed and slightly irregular in outline, consistent with early archaic hammered coinage technique. The surface within the compartments shows the characteristic rough texture produced by the punch used to strike the flan, as visible on this specimen. No legend or additional devices are present.
