| Reverse description | Incuse quadripartite square of mill-sail or windmill type, divided into four recessed rectangular compartments by raised ridges intersecting at the centre, a standard reverse type employed consistently on Kyzikene electrum hektes of the archaic period. The incuse is deeply struck and clearly defined, with alternating raised and sunken quarters, a technique typical of early Greek coinage used to anchor the metal and confirm authenticity. No legend or additional device is present. The flan is irregular and slightly convex. |
