| Obverse description | A tunny fish (Atlantic bluefin tuna) depicted in bold relief, oriented to the right, occupying the majority of the field. A prominent spike or rostrum projects from the head, with a single pellet positioned behind the eye. A second tunny is rendered above in smaller scale, also facing right, serving as the characteristic Kyzikene ethnic badge. The design is executed in the archaic Greek style with schematic yet vigorous modelling, typical of early electrum coinage from the Propontis region. No legend or inscription is present. |

| Reverse description | A quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse field, formed by two intersecting diagonal grooves creating four recessed triangular compartments of roughly equal size. The incuse is deeply struck and irregular in outline, consistent with early archaic hammered coinage technique in which the reverse punch was a simple square anvil tool. The surface within the compartments displays the characteristic hammered texture of sixth-century electrum issues. No inscription or additional device is present. |
