| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, formed by two intersecting raised ridges dividing the surface into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size. The incuse is deeply struck with granular texturing visible within each quadrant, characteristic of the archaic mill-sail or windmill pattern associated with early Lydian and Ionian coinage technique. The raised border surrounding the incuse square is clearly defined, and the entire reverse presents the typical machine-like regularity of the Kyzikene hekte series. No legend or additional devices are present. |
