| Obverse description | Forepart of a winged boar advancing to the right, rendered in bold archaic relief. The creature's musculature is conveyed with confident, stylized modeling, while the large, layered wing — with finely engraved parallel flight feathers and a distinctive beaded covert area — dominates the upper field. The boar's snout, eye, and tusk are clearly articulated, lending the design an energetic, animalistic presence characteristic of early Lesbian electrum coinage. The flan is irregular, with the design well-centered on the available surface. No legend or inscription appears in the field. |
