Reverse description A kantharos — the deep two-handled wine cup emblematic of Dionysos — depicted facing, set upon a short stem and base, with its tall loop handles rising symmetrically above the bowl. Flanking the base of the kantharos on either side are ivy sprays with recognisable leaf forms, reinforcing the Dionysiac programme of the type. The entire design is contained within a shallow incuse square, characteristic of early electrum coinage of Lesbos. No inscription appears.
