Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, produced by a four-armed punch divided into four equal rectangular compartments by raised ridges meeting at the centre. Each quadrant displays a rough, granular surface characteristic of the hammered incuse technique employed in early Greek coinage. The incuse is deeply struck and slightly asymmetric, consistent with hand-struck archaic fabric. No inscription or subsidiary device is present.
