Obverse description A nude male figure, identified as a youthful hero or deity, depicted in dynamic kneeling-running pose (knielauf) astride a galloping horse advancing to the left. The figure wears a radiate crown with prominent spikes, rendered in high relief characteristic of Kyzikene electrum coinage. The musculature of the figure is rendered with confident archaic craftsmanship, the horse's head turned slightly outward with open mouth. The composition fills the irregular flan, with no legend present, consistent with the aniconic monetary tradition of this mint.

Reverse description A quadripartite incuse square divided into four recessed compartments by a raised cruciform ridge, each quarter displaying a roughly textured, granular surface typical of the hammered electrum technique employed at Kyzikos. The incuse punch is deeply struck and slightly off-center on the irregular flan. No legend or additional design elements are present, conforming to the standard reverse type of Kyzikene hektes throughout the classical period.
