Obverse description Hand-engraved design on the obverse of a Mexican 50 Pesos coin. The central field bears the deeply engraved word MEXICO within an oval cartouche, surrounded by a circular hand-engraved legend reading HEALTH, LIFE, and GOOD LUCK separated by small engraved stars. The border retains the original coin's milled edge and beaded inner rim.

Reverse description Reverse of the host Mexican 50 Pesos coin dated 1982, featuring a detailed relief depiction of the Aztec moon goddess Coyolxauhqui, based on the carved stone disc discovered in 1978 at the Templo Mayor in Mexico City. The denomination 50 appears to the right of the figure, with the date 1982 below and the mint mark Mo at lower right. The curved legend TEMPLO MAYOR DE MEXICO appears at the top of the field, and COYOLXAUHQUI along the lower border.
