Reverse description A plain Latin cross divides the field into four quarters, with a fleur-de-lis in two opposing angles and a crown in the remaining two angles, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The design reflects the heraldic imagery of the French royal house combined with the comital symbols of Provence. The surrounding legend in uncial Latin, partially illegible due to the irregular flan and wear, bears the devotional inscription invoking the name of the Lord. The overall execution is characteristic of small hammered billon coinage of the late 15th to early 16th century.
