| Reverse description | A plain Greek cross with equal arms fills the central field, set within an inner circle. The cross arms are bold and well-defined, typical of hammered feudal silver coinage of the late fifteenth century. Surrounding the inner circle, the circumferential legend DEI GRACIA PRINCEPS runs in uncial Latin characters, proclaiming the issuer's title as Prince by the grace of God, a reference to his sovereignty over the Principality of Orange. |
