Obverse lettering MON RODLP EPISC TRAIET
Reverse description Full-length frontal effigy of Saint Martin of Tours, mitred and vested in episcopal robes with heavily draped folds, standing on a decorative base. The saint holds a crozier in his right hand and raises his left hand in a gesture of benediction. The figure is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding circular Gothic legend reads SANCTE MARTIN EPIS, with pellet stops between words, consistent with the Rhenish gold gulden type adapted for episcopal coinage.
