Obverse description Within a square inner border set against a plain field with a fine outer toothed rim, the elaborate crowned royal cipher of Stanisław August Poniatowski (SAP monogram) is displayed in interlaced script beneath a royal crown. The monogram is rendered in baroque calligraphic style with elaborate flourishes extending to the lower corners of the inner square. No legend appears on this side.
