Obverse description Central field occupied by the elaborate crowned royal cipher of Stanisław August Poniatowski, formed by the interlaced initials SA (Stanislaus Augustus Rex) surmounted by a royal crown with pearled arches. The date 1767 is divided by the monogram, with '17' to the left and '67' to the right. The coin is bordered by a toothed (reeded) inner rim. No peripheral legend appears on this side.
