Obverse description Central field dominated by the interlaced royal cypher 'AR' (Augustus Rex) in elaborate Baroque calligraphic script, surmounted by a Royal crown with arched band and jeweled rim. The monogram rests above a horizontal baseline, below which the denomination '1·GR·' is inscribed in the exergue. The design is restrained and unframed, with no peripheral legend, reflecting the pattern or Piedfort character of this emission.
