Reverse description Central field bearing a plain cross pattée within a beaded inner circle, dividing the annular legend into four quadrants. The reverse legend spells out VERONA and CI VI in alternating segments separated by trefoil or rosette stops, referencing the joint communal authority of Verona and Vicenza. Between the beaded inner border and the outer toothed rim, four Maltese crosses are positioned at the cardinal points, with fleur-de-lis or star ornaments filling the intervening spaces. The hammered fabric displays the characteristic irregular flan and variable relief typical of 13th-century Italian grossi struck under the podestà of Ezzelino III da Romano.
