Obverse description Full-length frontal effigy of Saint Gaudentius, patron bishop of Rimini, depicted in episcopal vestments with mitre and raising his right hand in benediction, set within a beaded inner circle. The saint's stylized robes and facial features reflect the Romanesque-Gothic artistic conventions typical of 13th–14th century Italian communal coinage. A circular Latin legend runs along the outer border between the beaded circle and the coin's edge.
