Reverse description Central field depicts a large, stylised eagle displayed in late-Gothic fashion, wings spread and head turned, rendered with radiating feather detail. The eagle serves as the principal charge referencing the imperial and sovereign dignity of the issuer. A circular Latin legend encircles the device, separated by a beaded border, quoting the Magnificat verse alluding to the power of God's arm. The overall execution is consistent with late-fifteenth-century Lotharingian hammered coinage, with the legend punctuated by mullets or star-shaped stops.
