Reverse description A floriated cross with trefoiled terminals extends to the coin's inner border, its four arms dividing the field into quadrants. At the centre of the cross a raised quadrilobe (four-lobed rosette) is set within a recessed quatrefoil depression, creating a layered decorative effect typical of Gothic Breton grosses. The legend of supplication encircles the design between two beaded borders, with word-separating punctuation marks throughout.
