(Translation: Rudolphus II. dei gratia Romanorum Imperator Semper Augustus Germaniae Hungariae Bohemiae Rex - Rudolf II, by the grace of God, Emperor of the Romans, forever Monarch, King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia)
Reverse description The reverse displays the quartered royal arms of Hungary within an ornate heraldic shield, featuring the characteristic alternating stripes of Hungary and the apostolic double cross on a mount in the central quarters, flanked by decorative foliate scrollwork. The shield is set in the center of the field without additional supporting figures. A circular Latin legend surrounds the shield, giving the date of issue and identifying the coin as new coinage. The overall composition is typical of late 16th- to early 17th-century Hungarian groschen struck at the Nagybánya mint.
