Obverse description Quartered coat of arms of Anjou-Bar filling the field, divided by a plain cross into four quarters: the upper quarters bear fleurs-de-lis (Anjou) and bezants on a field of stars (Bar), while the lower quarters are similarly arranged. At the center, an inescutcheon bearing the arms of Lorraine (a bend with alerions) is superimposed over the junction of the cross. The whole is surrounded by a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend running between the inner and outer borders.
