Obverse description The Virgin Mary, veiled and enthroned, is depicted facing forward in three-quarter view, holding the Christ Child on her right arm. The mintmark letters K and B appear in the field to the left and right of the central figure, flanking the throne. The figures are rendered in a late Gothic style typical of Hungarian hammered coinage of the period. A beaded inner circle encloses the central design, with the royal titulature legend running continuously around the outer border.
