Reverse description A bold Greek cross with splayed arms fills the central field, dividing the coin into four quarters. The cross is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, around which the principal legend is arranged in two concentric bands of Gothic lettering separated by a beaded border. The outer legend references the County of Venaissin and a Eucharistic thanksgiving formula, characteristic of Comtat Venaissin grossi of this period.
