Reverse description A long cross pattee extends to the coin's edge, dividing the circumferential legend into four segments. In each angle formed by the cross arms, alternating coats of arms of Lorraine and Bar are displayed. At the center of the cross, a heraldic shield bearing the arms of Jerusalem quartered with those of Naples-Anjou is prominently featured, reflecting the dynastic claims of the Duchy. The overall composition follows the standard quadrilobe heraldic arrangement typical of Lorraine groschen of the period.
