| Reverse description | Central motif consists of a bold plain cross pattée dividing the inner field into four quarters, each containing a small oval pellet, all enclosed within a beaded circle. The cross terminals are ornamented with trefoil cusps. An inner circular legend band carries the Marian invocation in Gothic uncial script, reading +SALVE*REGINA*MISERICORDIE, with the word VIT / A*D / VLC / EDO distributed across the quadrants of the inner cross field. A further beaded border separates the legend from the plain outer rim. Small rosette or cross stops punctuate the legend throughout. |
