Reverse description A plain Latin cross with equal arms occupies the center of the field, set within a beaded inner circle. The quadrants formed by the arms of the cross are plain. An inner legend in uncial Gothic lettering runs between the inner beaded circle and an outer beaded border, with a second concentric legend in the outermost register. The overall design follows the standard gros tournois type widely imitated by French seigneurial lords in the early 14th century.
