Obverse description Crowned bust of King Peter IV facing left, depicted in a Gothic style characteristic of 14th-century Aragonese coinage. The monarch wears a fleur-de-lis crown and is shown draped in a mantle ornamented with a prominent cross pattee at the chest, flanked by small rosette or mullet ornaments. A beaded inner circle frames the royal effigy. The surrounding legend in Latin reads +PETRUS DEI GRACIA REX, separated by trefoil or star stops, running clockwise within a toothed outer border.
