Obverse description Crowned bust of King Peter IV facing left, rendered in a Gothic hammered style typical of 14th-century Aragonese coinage. The royal effigy is depicted with flowing hair beneath a fleur-de-lis crown, truncated at the shoulders. A decorative mantle or collar is visible at the base of the bust, flanked by two ornamental rosettes. The portrait is contained within an inner beaded circle, with the Latin royal legend disposed in the outer annular field between two beaded borders.
