Reverse description A long cross pattee extends to the inner circle, dividing the central field into four quarters, each plain. The cross is encircled by a beaded inner ring, outside of which radiates a ring of Gothic fleurs-de-lis or leaf ornaments pointing outward. Two concentric circular borders frame an outer legend in uncial Gothic script, carrying a Eucharistic invocation separated by pellet stops. The overall composition follows the standard Low Countries groot type derived from French gros tournois prototypes, with the typical double-legend reverse arrangement.
