Obverse description Central field features the Imperial Orb (Reichsapfel), a cross-surmounted globe divided by a horizontal band, set within a prominent Gothic trefoil (trilobe) border formed by three interlocking arcs. The trefoil is itself enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend runs clockwise in Gothic script along the outer rim, separated from the inner design by a beaded border. The overall composition is characteristic of late medieval Holy Roman Empire goldgulden coinage, with the Reichsapfel serving as the principal imperial symbol.
