Obverse description Full-length armoured effigy of Archduke Ferdinand I standing facing, holding a sceptre in his right hand; the figure is contained within a beaded inner circle, which is intersected at the level of the face. The design is rendered in the detailed Gothic-Renaissance style characteristic of the Hall mint under Ursenthaler. The abbreviated legend runs along the outer rim.
