Obverse description Central field dominated by a large, boldly rendered fleur-de-lis in the Florentine style, its three lobes crosshatched with fine diagonal lines in the characteristic hammered goldgulden tradition. The fleur-de-lis rises from the lower field and fills the coin's face, with foliate scrolls extending laterally into the border area. A circular legend in Gothic uncial script surrounds the central device, reading BOLCO DVX, identifying the issuing ruler Duke Bolko II of Schweidnitz.
