Reverse description Central design features a large ornate cross with four arms, each arm decorated with elaborate foliate terminals, enclosing a shield bearing the Styrian panther at the center. The cross and central shield are rendered in high relief within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend ARCHI·AVS·DVX·BVR·STYRIAE with the date 1644 distributed around the periphery within a roped outer border. The composition closely mirrors the standard 1 Kreuzer type executed in gold as a presentation or pattern piece. A suspension hole pierces the flan at the top, consistent with the obverse.
