Reverse description A stylized horse prancing left, depicted in the abstract Celtic manner characteristic of Gaulish coinage. The horse's body is rendered with exaggerated curvilinear forms, with a prominent arched neck and limbs dissolving into spiral and pellet motifs. Above and around the horse, a checkered or grid-patterned chariot wheel or solar symbol is visible, composed of rows of pellets and squares. Scattered pellet groups and decorative volutes fill the field, replacing the charioteer and attendant figures found on earlier Macedonian-derived prototypes, in a manner typical of the Parisii coinage series.
