Reverse description A lunate horse rendered in profile to the left, executed in the highly stylised Celtic manner, with a large, open head and attenuated body. A triad of pellets appears beneath the horse's head, serving as a decorative ground element. The inscription is distributed across the field in three registers: above the horse's back, below the chest in ligate form, and in front of the horse, where portions of the legend are partly articulated by the animal's forelegs, a compositional device typical of late Corieltauvian coinage.
